Having the proper detection equipment integrated into your area will provide just that. Through the use of our Queue Detection Trailer or HS Connect Radar Trailer, we can provide a variety of real-time data, including speed, volume, and occupancy, for 1–22 lanes of traffic. Within Smart Work Zones, we are the exclusive distributor of Wavetronix’s industry-leading detection devices. When attached to our Queue Detection Trailer, their SmartSensor HD collects all the essential data you need, such as average speed, volume, occupancy, and classification. Providing the highest quality sensor ensures that real-time data is as accurate as possible. We also partner with INRIX to offer vehicle probe data in and around work zones, which can be used as a supplement to the data collected by our various sensor options. The final product is a much safer environment for all incoming motorists.

Dynamic Lane Merge

The sooner motorists are aware of an upcoming lane change within your work zone, the more alert they will be.

With safety as our ultimate goal, we have created multiple options to achieve this. With integrated products such as our HS Connected Arrow Board, we strive to alert motorists sooner rather than later. Additionally, through our partnership with HAAS Alert, we can integrate their services into our Smart Work Zone devices, such as our HS Connected Arrow Boards, to send Work Zone safety alerts to approaching motorists through Waze and in-vehicle navigation systems. These Safety Cloud® alerts provide approaching drivers a 15-20 second warning to slow down and move over safely. This creates a much safer environment for both motorists and roadside workers.
